One of the most common questions we get from event carpet customers is what aisle runner color they should use for their event.

So to make it easy for you, we created this easy event carpet color guide, which should help you select the right color for your type of event.

  • Red: The best known color for special event carpets, red runners are of course associated with anything related to Hollywood – movie premieres, awards, etc. – but it can also be used for Christmas parties, private parties, product launches and even adult industry events.
  • Green: Green carpets are on the rise as they translate as eco-friendly but they are also used for food and beverage event – most particularly all these green soda brands.
  • Pink: the pink color is mostly used for events related to the beauty industry, LGBT community and fundraising.
  • Blue: Blue is often used by corporate America and at trade shows.
  • Purple: You can usually see purple carpets at sports and sometimes manufacturing related events.
  • Black: Black is the cool, trendy choice for the music industry or anything macabre – yes that’s what you need for your Halloween party.
  • White: Think innocence, white weddings and –  youth –  birthdays of course!

That said, you don’t have to stick to these guidelines. You can obviously pick any color you want for your event and another common practice is to match your carpet’s colors to your logo’s.

For you convenience, event carpets are available to rent or to purchase.
