If you’re an event planner in Hollywood – or anywhere else as a matter of fact – you know that keeping your event private is essential, especially if some of your guests are celebrities. Based on our experience working on red carpet premieres and special events – which featured plenty of stars and even an ex US president – here are some tips to keep your event private:
1. Have guests enter through a backdoor or alley rather than through a main entrance located on a street.
2. Close the area and keep onlookers away using barricades.
3. Put green hedges around your patio if your party is taking place outside and possibly even set up a tent or canopy.
4. Set up an indoor perimeter using velvet ropes and chrome stands (looks more glamorous).
5. Have security at the entrance and inside the venue to keep the peace.
